SC Waterfall Adventure - multiple locations

Let's venture into South Carolina for waterfalls!

Don't let the different state scare you... the drive is only about 1.5 hours to our final destination.

Stop #1 - We will begin our day at Chau-Ram-Falls Trail. This trail is located at the Chau-Ram County Park. We will hike about 3 easy miles in this park. We will meet at the trailhead which is on the right after you enter the park. The address is: 1220 Chau Ram Park Road, Westminster, SC. There is a parking fee of $3 cash.

Stop #2 - Issaqueena Falls will be the 2nd stop on the SC waterfall tour. This is a short trail (less than 1/2 a mile) and is listed as moderate due to the elevation (sort of a scramble down to the bae of the falls). The trail is located in Stumphouse Park. So while we are here, we will visit the Stumphouse Tunnel. We will meet at the Stumphouse Tunnel. The address is: 150 Stumphouse Tunnel Road, Walhalla, SC. There is a parking fee of $5.

Stop #3 - Yellow Branch Falls and our final destination - this is across the street from Issaqueena Falls. The Yellow Branch Falls trail is about 3 miles with about 500 ft of elevation gain.

Please note that although some of these trails are easy, we will maintain a pace of about 2.5 miles per hour so not a beginners hike. The ending time of this hike is approximate due to the driving done between the falls. Don't forget to bring plenty of water and snacks!
