Tribble Mill is a very large park with lots to see and do. And while I prefer to hike on dirt, much of this event will be walking the multipurpose paved trail that loops around Ozora Lake. We will, however, be hitting some dirt paths as we will be including the Chandler Lake Loop Trail. We will also take one other short dirt diversion that will allow us to view a nice stream area.
While both trails are considered “easy” and have very little elevation gain as they hug shorelines for the most part, please note that I do like to keep a fairly quick pace … roughly 2.5 - 3 mph. Please keep this in mind before deciding to join this hike.
Dogs are welcome on this hike and are very encouraged to attend. Woof! 🐕🦺
There are a couple of entrances to this park so please take note!
We will meet at the Harris Greenway Trailhead off Chandler Road, near the restrooms. If you are in doubt as to where that is, just follow the pin map embedded in the event site using Google Maps and it will get you to exactly the right place. I promise 😊
The hike will start at 5:46 pm, and I figure it will take us about 2.25 hours to complete. I do start events on time so please do not be late for the consideration of all attendees.
