Join us for the September 2023 event of Svelte Society Zurich!
We have great news for all of you.
Agency Liip https://www.liip.ch/en very kindly decided to host us, they use Svelte in their work and will support the event with colleagues attending the event. This is really fabulous. Thank you Liip.
While we were able to enjoy some nice talks in the past now the focus is clearly on getting hands-on experience with Svelte. The aim is that all of you leave with either your questions/challenges in your own app solved or you write a little app together with us in a workshop style manner to see what Svelte is all about.
Beginners are very welcome. Bring your laptop with you. This time we will be coding together. :))
We will have a "Svelte Lab" session where we will introduce you to Svelte and SvelteKit, build a few components and pages and learn how to get up and running with Svelte and SvelteKit.
We will also have a "Svelte Challenge" session where you can show a question or challenge you face with a current app and we will try to help you.
We might have a short talk strictly limited to 10-15 minutes, so that we can enjoy an interesting topic while not spending too much time on just listening.

Svelte Lab
Enjoy a simple intro to Svelte and SvelteKit.
- Learn how to pull data from an API into your components and pages.
- Learn about component Lifecycle.
- Ask questions, do live coding with us.
- Install SvelteKit, hack away with us.

Svelte Challenge
Present us with your current app and show us where you are currently facing a challenge or point where you don't know how to get further. We will look at this together or in person and try to help you as good as we can. We have some very experienced pros in the team so should be able to help you, however please bear in mind we might not have time to read through a huge code base. We will do our best to solve your questions.
