Do you have high school aged kids that are bound for college? Concerned about the ever rising cost of higher education? Overwhelmed by the process, the forms or the sheer volume of information you are supposed to know and understand?
This group is a forum for parents of college-bound students to connect, share ideas, and support one another through the college planning journey. With college costs continuing to rise exponentially, it's more important than ever for American families to find ways to make college more affordable and stay financially secure at the same time.
Hosted by Chartered Financial Consultant, John Ensley. With a background in the Federal Student Loan Industry and owner of a Financial Planning firm, John was inspired by the challenges of navigating the higher Ed system with his own step-daughter. He started this group to establish a space for other SW Washington families with college bound kids to network and learn how to make higher education as affordable as possible, without blowing up their retirement plans.
