What we’re about
A social group for lesbians and the sapphically inclined in the SWAN area of Virginia (Staunton, Waynesboro, Augusta county, & Nearby).
Amy & Cynthia will host at least one gathering per month, such as a meal at a restaurant, a potluck, a picnic, a wine tasting, a music bingo night, etc., and we encourage members to also use the group to host gatherings based on their own interests. Pick a day, time, place, and activity, send it to Amy, and she'll post it for you (or make you an event organizer so you can post it yourself!)
Women only. Ages 21 and up are welcome, but the group organizers are in their 50's, so events may skew to that demographic. Membership is free.

See all- Mexican Train Dominoes and Mexican Food!Amy & Cynthia's House, Waynesboro, VA
Join us for an evening of Mexican Train Dominoes and Mexican food!
GAME: Never played Mexican Train? No worries. It's a pretty simple game of matching the dominos in your hand with one of the available "trains" in the center of the table, with the goal of using up all your dominoes each round. See the BGG description for more info (although we own a simpler variation of the game).
The game plays up to 8 people, but I'll put the attendee limit at 10 in case anyone just wants to watch or play as a team.
FOOD: Bring a Mexican-themed food dish to share! And please, don't everyone bring tortilla chips :-)
This event is open only to people who've met Amy or Cynthia in person already (or who are a guest of someone attending). We'll meet at our house in Waynesboro.
I'm also inviting members from our Waynesboro Board Gaming Women meetup, so I'll add them as my "guests" to keep the RSVP count accurate.

- Waynesboro Pride 2025! (aka PRISM Waynesboro)Charles T. Yancey Municipal Building, Waynesboro, VA
This is more of a "mark your calendars" than a meetup event, although we'd be happy to meet up with other members. If anyone RSVPs, we'll coordinate a meetup.
Waynesboro is holding its second annual Pride celebration on Saturday 9/27 from 12-4pm. Last year it was in the parking lot across from the Wayne Theater, and I'm guessing it'll be there this year, but stay tuned to these pages for more info: About Prism on the Visit Waynesboro site and on Facebook.
This event is much smaller than Staunton Pride, which is 10/11, but we're proud of Waynesboro for showing their support :-)
