Launching from Pt Walter spit (car park on Freo side). Not the usual bee-line to coffee, but a loop (Nick's idea).
Firstly using the low tide to get right in under the Blackwall Reach cliffs (20 feet in), checking out another cave around the corner and a little cove (both need a higher tide to get into), and very weird rock 'skylight' before it surely falls down soon.

Then keeping inside the moored boats , coffee at Cool Beans (between 8 Knots and Swan YC). Maybe a first swim there (37deg forecast).

Next straight across to the safety of the northern shore, east along there for a swim at Chidley Point Reserve beach, and back to Pt Walter.

Afterwards we're off to East Fremantle Yacht Club for lunch. More the merrier.

Bring hot weather gear and a life vest because at some places there's nowhere nearby to land.
