About us
Welcome to Swansea 20s & 30s Socials! 👋
If you’ve ever found it daunting to build a new social circle after university or moving to the area, you’re in the right place. Meeting new friends as an adult is a challenge, so we’ve created a space to make it simple.
Come along and meet people who are looking for the same things you are: new experiences, genuine friendship, and a break from the routine of everyday life.
What We Do Together: We focus on a mix of adventure and relaxation:
- Coastal & Mountain Hikes: Exploring the incredible trails around Gower and beyond. 🥾
- Beach Days: Relaxed afternoons, swims, and summer BBQs. 🏖️
- Monthly Socials: Drinks, food and great conversation. 🍕 (Note: Alcohol is never the focus of our events—whether you drink or not, you'll find a welcoming environment.)
- Casual Meets: Coffee mornings, local markets, and other fun events. ☕
How to Join Us: To keep our group active, safe, and focused on genuine connections, we have a simple setup:
- 14-Day Free Trial: Come along to an event and meet us first! There’s no cost to try us out for the first two weeks.
- Annual Membership: To cover platform costs, we have a small £8 annual membership fee.
Help Shape the Group! ✨
Have a hobby or interest you'd like to share? This is a community-led group.
If you'd like to host a specific event, whether it's a niche craft, a specific hike, or something else, let me know by dropping me a message on here. It’s awesome when organisers create events around their passions!
Looking forward to meeting you soon,
George.
P.S. I know that first event can be nerve-wracking, but we’re a friendly group. You won't regret taking the leap!
