What we’re about

After leaving the university bubble building a new social circle is challenging for many people, myself included! With this group, I want to make it easier for those in their 20s and 30s to meet each other while doing things they enjoy. Each week or fortnightly, I'll arrange an event on a theme for example:

  • Market & cafe meets
  • Nature walks & hikes
  • Beach trips: swimming, surfing & bbq's
  • Learning new skills eg. Breadmaking
  • Music concerts & after pub meets
  • Art sessions
  • Volunteering (eg. beach litter pick)

It would help me greatly in knowing the kind of events to organise, if members could share 5 - 10 interests they have upon joining the group. There'll be a question box to fill in for this when you join the Meetup page.

Please note if you don't show up having RSVP'ed as "going" and don't let me know, you will be removed from the group as I want to keep an active membership. Just drop me a message or simply change your RSVP if life gets in the way of joining.
