This is the 4th workshop of our 30Hour Series. You will learn the next dates at the end of this event.
Many highly qualified professionals struggle to progress in the Swedish job market despite having strong education, solid experience, and well‑written profiles.
This session explores why strong profiles are sometimes not selected and what this reveals about how hiring decisions are made in Sweden.
Using real examples and insights from the Swedish recruitment environment, we will examine how clarity, risk assessment, and role‑specific expectations influence hiring outcomes.
Particular emphasis will be placed on how Swedish employers evaluate readiness, precision, and immediate contribution, and how this differs from recruitment practices in other countries.
This session is especially relevant for foreign‑born professionals who may bring strong international experience but find it difficult to translate their value into the Swedish context.
By the end of the session, participants will:
- Understand how hiring decisions are made in Sweden
- Recognize why strong profiles may still be overlooked
- Gain clarity on what employers look for beyond qualifications
- Learn how to present skills and experience with greater confidence and precision
The goal is not to change who you are, but to help you align how you present your value with how the Swedish job market evaluates candidates.
See you there
NOTE - There will be a 45-minute break for you to arrange your own lunch or to enjoy the meal you bring in.
