This is a virtual beginner yoga class taught by Anne Susas, Certified Svaroopa Yoga Instructor. This is a gentle style of yoga that helps to decompress tension held in the spine. Each asana(pose) targets a specific part of the spine - tailbone, sacrum, lumbar and thoracic. Resting in specific alignments and softening will allow for release in the spine allowing for increased blood, nerve and lymph circulation and energy flow. The benefits are decreased back, shoulder/neck, knee pain, reduced anxiety and improved vitality.

*You will need a chair, 2 yoga blocks and two blankets.

While this is a gentle class, it is not recommended if you are pregnant or taking immunosuppressant medication.
