Casual bike ride Terra Ceia to Palmetto (24 miles) + Breakfast

Get up early, beat the traffic and the heat!

Join us for a casual bike ride through the very picturesque community of Terra Ceia and ride along the shore to Rubonia with its Palm View Marina. From there we will make our way south through diverse neighborhoods into historic Palmetto.

In Palmetto we will enjoy a delicious breakfast at D's Breakfast & Burgers. They have a wide variety of breakfast items and excellent service.

On our return we take a slightly different route and before we finish the ride we might just stop at Citrus Place and spoil ourselves with orange flavored ice cream.

We will mostly ride on roads but traffic should be minimal. For your safety, please bring along flashing front and back lights for your bikes.
A bike lock is also a good idea.

Total distance will be 24 miles r/t. We will ride at 10 - 12 mph but will make several stops along the way.

This is supposed to be a social event and no race, so please have sufficient time and do not schedule anything right after the event. Breakfast might take longer than expected, so might the ride.

Please carry sufficient water, sunscreen and check your bikes before the ride.
