Scenic Ferry Ride, 6 mile Beach Walk & Lunch with a View (Drinks thereafter?)

Join us for a new adventure! This time we combine a scenic ferry ride with a close to 6 miles beach walk which is interrupted by a lunch with a view. We might end the day's event with drinks on a rooftop terrace.
Remember to carry sufficient water for the beach walk and protect yourself from the sun.

09:30 AM: Let's meet in front of The Bishop Museum of Science & Nature located at 201 10th St W in Bradenton.

There is unlimited free parking at the parking garage on the corner of 10th St W & 3rd Ave W (entrance ramp on 10th St W). Parking along the streets is usually limited to 2 hours.
From the museum we will take a short walk along the Riverwalk to the Ferry Pier.

10:00 AM: Ferry departure.
The ferry ride will take approximately 1 hour to Bridge Street Pier.

We will block space on the ferry for the event date. Once we get closer to the event, we will update the total count and crosscheck with the ferry operator. Tickets will be prepaid a few days before the event unless you sign up last minute. Please keep in mind that if you cancel last minute, you will still have to pay us.

Roundtrip tickets will be $7.00 for adults over 60 and $ 11 if you are younger than that. As we don't want to guess everyone's age, text us at (917)774-0941 which category you belong to. Feel free to cheat, you will just have to pay more 😅.

11:00 AM: Walk approximately 3 miles
We will walk from the Bridge Street Pier to the beach and once there, head north to Anna Maria Beach Cafe.

12:30 PM: Lunch
We should be at the cafe at around 12:30 PM latest and will take a 1 hour 30 minutes break during which we can buy and enjoy our lunch with a view of the beach and/or shop at the little gift shop.

02:00 PM: Walk approximately 3 miles
We will walk back along the beach to the Bridge Street Pier.

03:30 PM: Departure
The ferry will take 1 hour back to the Riverwalk in Bradenton.

Feel free to join us after the ferry ride for drinks at the Oak & Stone Rooftop Bar atop the Springhill Suites Hotel by Marriott. It is just a short walk to get there and from there back to the parking garage.
