Casual bike ride through St. Pete's South (21 miles) & Early Lunch

Let's meet at the parking lot at North Shore Park in Downtown St. Pete before 08:00 AM and head south this time.

We will ride south along St. Pete's Bayfront and explore several neighborhoods such as Old Southeast, Tropical Shores, Driftwood, Coquina Key, Bahamas Shores , Bayou Shores and a few others. We will also come across a total of 16 parks in all shapes and sizes.

On our return we will have an early lunch at The Big Catch at Salt Creek. We won't be able to make a reservation but it shouldn't be too busy when they open at 11:00 AM.

We will ride 21 miles at an average speed of 10 to 12 mph. However, we will make several stops along the way which will add some time.

Please always remember that this will be social event and not a race. Don't schedule anything right after, as the ride might take longer than expected. This is in particular true for lunch. You will have to wait until the last person in our group receives the check and is able to pay.
If you need to get back earlier, you will be on your own. Just let us know in case you want to take off.

Make sure you checked your bike before the ride. Please carry sufficient water and protect yourself from the sun. A snack might also be a good idea. Bike locks will be essential.
