Bike & Discover Lakewood Ranch (18 miles r/t) + Sunday Market (SUMMER VERSION)

THIS IS THE SUMMER VERSION OF OUR POPULAR RIDE. WE WILL START AND END AT WATERSIDE!

Join us for a casual bike ride and explore some parts of Lakewood Ranch including the Sunday Market. We will ride around 18 miles r/t. at 10 - 12 mph with several stops along the way.

07:45 AM: We will meet at the Waterside Pavilion (left of Deep Lagoon Seafood & Oyster House; where the restrooms are). There is plenty of parking in the area behind the buildings on Lakefront Dr.

We will ride our bikes to Main Street in Lakewood Ranch and continue through several quiet and green neighborhoods. Some of them are not accessible by car if you do not reside in the area.

We then return to Waterside, the fairly new and lively development with shops, restaurants, parks and more.

Sunday is Farmers Market Day at Waterside! The market was ranked #1 in Florida! It will open at 10:00 AM and closes at 02:00 PM, so you might want to hang around and spend some time there. You won't be the only one, that we can promise. Don't forget to bring along a bag in case you want to shop!

This is supposed to be a social event and no race, so please have sufficient time and do not schedule anything right after.

Please carry sufficient water, sunscreen and check your bikes before the ride.
