Bike ride Anna Maria's City Pier to Holmes Beach (16 miles r/t) & Fun at Bayfest

Join us for a casual bike ride from Anna Maria's City Pier to Anna Maria Beach Cafe at Holmes Beach (16 miles r/t at around 10 mph).

We will mainly ride on back streets and sidewalks where necessary, so car traffic should be negligible. At the Beach Cafe we will stop for a coffee or drink but not for a full breakfast. We will take different route back to the meeting point. We should be finished with the bike ride at approximately 10:00 AM, depending on the length of the breaks.

Thereafter, we can enjoy the 24th Annual Bayfest on Pine Avenue in Anna Maria. This is an all day event with live music, food, arts & crafts vendors. There are also a couple of restaurants and coffee shops in the area if you want to have breakfast, brunch or early lunch.

We obviously don't have to stay together as a group. Feel free to venture out on your own or drive back home if the Bayfest is not your cup of tea.
