Casual Bike Ride: Discover Picturesque Mill Creek & Grayhawk Landing (21 miles)

Join us for a casual and bike ride through two beautiful neighborhoods north of Lakewood Ranch. There will be plenty of shade along the way.

Maybe all gates to Greyhawk Landing will be closed and we won't be able to enjoy the second part of our ride? Who knows, last time we were still lucky. Will have to see and might have to change our route a little...

Let's meet at the parking lot of the Publix Super Market at White Eagle and ride over to Mill Creek, a residential area that originally opened in the late 1980s. It is known as a rustic countryside neighborhood in East Manatee County with plenty of green space.

After about 13 miles we will head over to the neighborhood of Greyhawk Landing with its wonderful nature paths and lakes.

Total distance will be about 21 miles. Speed is 10 - 12 mph but we will take a couple of breaks along the way. We will ride on roads, paved trails and sidewalks where necessary, so all bikes are fine.

This is supposed to be a social event and no race. Please do not schedule anything right after, as the bike ride might take longer than expected.

Please bring along sufficient water, wear sunscreen and check your bikes before the ride.
