Let's Explore Deer Prairie Creek Preserve By Foot. 10 +/- Miles

We will meet at the north entrance to the preserve off Border Rd. Porta potty available. We'll start on the main trail toward the south entrance but will soon hang a right onto some side trails that will give us a nice view of the river. Heading south we will eventually rejoin the main trail to the south parking lot. Picnic tables and porta potty for our enjoyment. After a picnic lunch we will head north on the main trail with a detour onto a few parallel side trails because it's boring to hike in a straight line. Eventually we will rejoin the main trail and return to our cars. This will be a long hike but has no hills! Hopefully we will see some wildlife. Bring lots of water, picnic lunch, sun block, insect repellent, sun hat and wear comfortable walking shoes. Don't make any plans for immediately after the hike as end time is approximate depending on where our curiosity takes us.
