SCOUT OUT: Country Roads and Horses (Bike 17 miles r/t)

Be a little adventurous and scout out a new route with us! Come with an open mind, we haven't done this one before. Occasional hiccups might occur but that's part of the fun!
Let's meet shortly before 08:30 AM at Panther Park, so we all can leave on time. Parking spaces are limited, please park your cars close to each other.
There are no facilities at the park or along the way. Please use them before you get there.
Our casual ride will take us along quiet and very scenic country roads. We will see wonderful country estates, plenty of horses, pastures and lots of green space.
We will mostly ride on paved roads but a section will be on hard packed sand. Skinny tires could be an issue if you don't feel comfortable, hybrids are probably best. Pace will be the usual 10 - 12 mph with plenty of stops along the way.
This will be a social event and no race! Please don't schedule anything right after the ride as it might take longer than expected. If you are running out of time, you will be on your own.
We might opt for lunch at First Watch at the corner of SR70 and Lorraine after the ride.
