Bike And Hike. Legacy Trail And Oscar Scherer State Park

Let's meet at the McIntosh Rd. parking lot on the Legacy trail. We will bike the 5 miles south on the trail to the back entrance of Oscar Scherer. We will bike in to the Nature Center. They have restrooms, drinking water, and for sale, cold drinks and ice cream. After a short break we will hike the scrub jay trail, about 2 miles. The scrub jay is an endangered bird found only in specific habitats. Oscar Scherer is it's favorite home. After the hike and another short rest break we will bike back to the McIntosh parking lot. Bring water, bug spray, sunblock and $ for ice cream.
