Join us for a casual bike ride from Dunedin to Tarpon Springs.

Let's beat the heat and meet shortly before 07:00 AM in front of the Dunedin History Museum. As this is a Sunday, traffic should be very light and you will be there in no time. There is plenty of parking to the right of the museum.

We will ride the Pinellas Trail from Dunedin to Tarpon Springs. Depending on the group, we might explore Ozona and Wall Springs Park on the way which will add a few miles to the total distance.
If we just stick to the trail, the ride is about 10 miles long one-way and should provide occasional shade.

In contrast to our usual Tarpon Spring rides, we will stop at Toula's Trailside Cafe and have breakfast. They don't accept reservations but we should be there before the church crowd fills up the restaurant.

We can still decide if we want to take a peek at Dodecanese Blvd. with its many shops and restaurants. However, keep in mind that all restaurants near the sponge docks will still be closed at that time.
It would add a bit more than 2 miles r/t to the ride, so not a big deal.

Potentially we could also add the newly opened Elfers Spur Trail to Ancelote River Park which adds around 5.5 miles. We have never biked this one before but it seems quite popular.

Once we are back in Dunedin, we might go for a refreshing drink at one of the many microbrews in town or have some ice cream. Obviously, this will be entirely up to you.

Please bring along plenty of water (ideally with electrolytes) and check your bikes before the ride. A bike lock would be great.

Don't schedule anything right after the event as it might take longer than expected. If you are in a rush, you will be on your own.
