Casual bike ride to Jiggs Landing (20 miles r/t)

Get up early to beat the heat and join us for a casual bike ride through some of the oldest neighborhoods in and around Lakewood Ranch to Jiggs Landing.
Let's meet in the parking lot at Summerfield Community Park at 06:50 AM so that we can leave on time. Restrooms are available at the park and at our destination.
As always, we will take a longer break at Jiggs Landing to enjoy the scenery. The convenience store will unfortunately not be open before noon during the summer months, please bring your own snacks and drinks.
Our group will ride on paved roads and on sidewalks when the road is too narrow. Just be aware that we will have to cross a fairly steep bridge over I-75 twice. Average speed will be 10 - 12 mph, total distance 20 miles r/t.
Please bring along plenty of water (ideally with electrolytes), don't forget to wear sunscreen and check your bikes before the ride.
This will be a social event, no race.
