What we’re about
SWFL Coders is a community for technology enthusiasts, including developers, coders, and non-coders, who are eager to explore the captivating world of programming.
We gather on the second Thursday of each month at our official venue, the Collaboratory in Downtown Fort Myers.
Our goal is to expand the SWFL Tech Community, inspiring members to either learn to code or, for those who are already experienced, to acquire new skills. We cherish the opportunity to connect and learn together, fostering mutual growth and knowledge exchange.
Our members come from diverse backgrounds, contributing to the richness of our collective experience.

See all- CI/CD with Amazon Web ServicesCollaboratory, Fort Myers, FL
Curious how companies like Amazon deploy secure apps at scale fast and reliably? In this talk, Jason Knott will walk us through how Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) works within the Amazon ecosystem using AWS services. He’ll start with a high-level overview of key AWS tools, then break down how AWS CodePipeline ties everything together in a real-world deployment pipeline.
Jason will share a sample GitHub package that includes the deployment code and a working example app built with React (via TypeScript and CDK) and Rust for the backend API. Whether you're just getting started with AWS or looking to level up your deployment workflow, this session will give you a practical look at building modern cloud-native pipelines.
