Write Less Code (and Create Solutions) ๐กโจ
Details
What's the goal of creating software?
A. To create clean code that's secure, optimized, and documented?
B. To create a solution that solves the requirements?
Ideally, the goal is both, but, before a line of code is written, do we know it will solve the requirements?
Do we even have the correct requirements?
Are the requirements likely to change? (This is almost always yes)
In this interactive session, we'll discuss:
- Gathering requirements
- Discovering surprise requirements... before they become a surprise
- Designing solutions to anticipate refactoring
