There’s nothing better than a beach walk under the glow of the full moon. Join us for an easy, social evening stroll on the actual full moon night as the sun sets and the moon rises over Fort Myers Beach.
Meet Time: 6:30 PM
Walk Begins: Around 6:45 PM
Meeting Location
We’ll meet at the Park and Ride at 769 San Carlos Drive, just before the Matanzas Pass Bridge. From there, we’ll walk across the pedestrian bridge and continue onto Fort Myers Beach.
The Walk
We’ll head north along the shoreline at a relaxed pace, soaking up moonlight, ocean air, and good company. The walk will be approximately 3 miles total, out and back. No rushing, just a great walk under a bright sky.

Comfortable walking shoes
Water
Optional small red or amber light for safety. The moon will do most of the work
Notes
We’ll gather while it’s still light and start walking before full dark. Please keep lighting minimal and stay on public walkways and beach areas.
