Join us for a special Celebration of Life hike honoring our friend Rick at CREW Flint Pen.
We will meet at the PineWoods parking lot, then head out together toward the lake before continuing down the Trail to Bird Rookery, one of Rick’s most loved areas.
Many of you may not know that Rick was a dedicated CREW volunteer. He helped develop, maintain, and mark many of the trails and signs we enjoy today. This land wasn’t just a place he visited, it was something he gave back to and helped shape for all of us.
Members of the CREW team he volunteered with will also be joining us.
Rick was a very special friend to many. He was kind, gentle, and genuine. Anyone who met him felt that.
Whether you can join for the full hike or just a portion, you are welcome.

- Planned distance: approximately 5–8 miles, depending on individual preference and conditions
- Mix of Shade & Unshaded Areas
- We’ll keep a steady, respectful pace and adjust as needed
- Bring Minimum 32 ounces of water
- Bring Change of shoes ,bug spray & sun protection
