Give Back to SWFL 🌿 Six Mile Cypress Slough Cleanup

Come spend the morning giving back to our community while helping support beautiful Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve!
This cleanup is sponsored and organized by Lee County, and Southwest Florida Solos has reserved 10 spots for our group. We’ll be joining other community volunteers to clean along Six Mile Cypress Parkway, collecting trash and recording data on the types of litter collected.

What to Bring
Please bring:
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- Hat
- Reusable water bottle
- Gloves, if you have them
Lee County will provide trash bags, grabbers, data collection sheets, and a limited number of extra gloves.
Parking & Where to Meet
Park at Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve in the furthest spaces down in the parking lot.
Check-in will be by the sidewalk near the Six Mile Cypress sign at the entrance.
Carpooling is highly encouraged due to limited parking.

I have reserved 10 spots for Southwest Florida Solos, so please RSVP only if you are committed to attending. If something comes up and you can no longer make it, please update your RSVP as soon as possible so your spot can be offered to another member.
There is no cost to participate.
Let’s spend a Saturday morning outdoors, meet some fellow members, and do a little good for Southwest Florida while we’re at it. 🌿💚
