Join us Saturday, October 3 at 10:00 AM for one of the most spectacular seasonal sights in Collier County, the annual native sunflower viewing at Pepper Ranch Preserve in Immokalee! 🌻
For a very limited time each year, Conservation Collier offers special access to experience the incredible fields of native Florida swamp sunflowers, also known as narrowleaf sunflowers, creating a sea of yellow across the preserve.
THIS IS A LIMITED-AVAILABILITY EVENT. PRE-RESERVATIONS THROUGH CONSERVATION COLLIER HAVE ALREADY BEEN SECURED FOR OUR GROUP.

THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO SOUTHWEST FLORIDA SOLOS MEMBERS ONLY. DUE TO THE VERY LIMITED NUMBER OF SPOTS, UNFORTUNATELY I CANNOT ACCOMMODATE GUESTS FOR THIS EVENT.
I’ll post photos from previous years because it’s difficult to describe just how beautiful this is in person. Depending on the position of the sun, you’ll notice the flowers facing toward the sunlight, creating some absolutely gorgeous views and photo opportunities.
Reservations are required and are issued by vehicle. I have secured four vehicle reservations for our group. We will meet at the visitor center, consolidate into four cars, and then drive together out to the Sunflower Trace trailhead.
From there, it’s an easy and relatively short walk of approximately one mile in and one mile back. We’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the sunflower fields, take photos, and experience this beautiful part of Pepper Ranch.
Afterward, anyone who wants to keep the day going can join us in Immokalee for lunch at one of the local Mexican restaurants and/or check out some of the local produce and farmers markets. Or, if you’d rather head home after the sunflower viewing, that’s perfectly fine too.
🌻 This special sunflower viewing opportunity is offered for a very limited time each year, and reservations are limited. It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience Pepper Ranch when the native sunflower fields are in bloom.
