We’ll have the opportunity to explore this beautiful preserve after sunset and experience a completely different side of Southwest Florida’s natural environment.

Pepper Ranch is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including deer, wild turkeys, sandhill cranes, alligators, and many other native species. As daylight fades, we’ll discover the sights and sounds of the preserve after dark.

During this guided experience, we’ll learn about nocturnal wildlife, listen for owls, look for fireflies, and discover the fascinating creatures that become active at night. We’ll also visit a moth station to observe nighttime insects and learn about their important role in the ecosystem. Weather permitting, we’ll enjoy some stargazing beneath the Southwest Florida sky.
