Casual Board and Card Games

Come and join us at the NW Library on Chiquita in the Cape on Tuesdays from about 5:30-7:30pm. I will be sitting at tables towards the back after you come through the entrance. I will be wearing a baseball hat and will have a small stack of games on the table that I bring with me. If you have been watching the group and thinking of joining, just stop by and play a game! The group has so far been pretty small between 2-4 people. I bring several games with me every week, and we are also open to trying new games if you have any you would like to bring. We mostly have been playing quick games that are easy to learn and not overly-competitive. Some of the games that we have been playing regularly and I regularly bring with me are Sequence, Sequence Dice, Jinx, Blokus, Otrio, Kings in the Corner and Rack-o. I also have a few decks of cards and dice to play games like Rummy, Golf, farkle and others. We will be aiming for games that don't take too long to play so we can get lots of games in. I will be there from about 5:15pm, and the library closes at 8:00pm on Tuesday nights. Feel free to come anytime, and don't feel obligated to stay until 8:00pm. Because these games don't take long to play, you will be able to join in even if you arrive later. I'm a 45-year-old male, but the group is open to any age and gender and aims to be a non-judgmental safe space for everyone. I hope to see you there!
