Swift Labs

Hey everyone, Swift Hack Night will be meeting once more in 2017 on December 6th at STEAMLabs. STEAMLabs is a community makerspace where people of all ages and abilities come together to practice digital fabrication, coding, hands-on making and electronics. As before, our goal is to get developers of all levels hacking and talking together in Swift. Bring your own projects, come out to help other people with their projects, start a new project. Whatever you want to hack, bring yourself out and we'll all do it together.

For anyone planning on coming: if you have an extra iPad that can run Swift Playgrounds, please consider bringing it so that we can share them out and get grouped up on using Playgrounds for people just starting out with no access to any other way of running Swift. Playgrounds is an excellent educational tool for Swift, and there are a lot of pre-made projects that can be run through for learning coding and Swift basics.

One final note: we will be sharing the space with STEAMLabs regular members, so the attendance for this event will be capped at 30 people. As such please keep your RSVPs up to date if you are unable to make it so that anyone on a waiting list can get a space.
