Apple Crushing and Live Music

Apple Weekend runs from Saturday 30 September to Sunday 1 October, where you can get up close to an 1890 apple crushing machine, still working hard after 130-plus years of service. Cream teas available.

Live music from Splat the Rat, a five-piece Swindon-based modern folk band, taking songs of old and giving them a modern day going over. They play songs of murder, love, debauchery, death, insanity, camels and heart break – there is something here for everyone!
