Old Town Comedy Loft

The Swindon Old Town Comedy Club, now runs a SECOND monthly regular show at The Hop Inn (Devizes Road, Old Town) on the last Monday of every month, showcasing 'work in progress' tour show previews and new material from some of the biggest names in UK Comedy!

Our headliner for May is TADIWA MAHLUNGE!

As seen on BBC 1, BBC 2, Dave, Comedy Central, UTV, Comic Relief and heard on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Northampton and BBC Sounds - Tadiwa Mahlunge has established himself as one of comedy’s hottest prospects. As such, he featured on the 2022 Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Billed as “one of the country's top new comedy acts” by The York Press, Tadiwa Mahlunge has performed at, among others, the Latitude, Greenman, and Greenwich Comedy Festivals - alongside the biggest names in comedy - and has provided tour support for Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Jessica Fostekew, and TV warm up for Desiree Birch’s Amazon Prime special.

Plus support from EMMA HUGHES fresh from supporting RUSSELL HOWARD in Bristol and up-and-coming rising star of the South West Comedy Circuit, ASHLEY JUMAR!

Your MC and Host for the evening is Sam Michael! Sam's audience interactions and compere skills have been described as "full of laughs and friendly patter" (Swindon Advertiser) which has lead him to supporting some of the biggest names in comedy, indluding Fiona Allen, Paul Foot, Dom Joly and Al Murray!

-Any behaviour we deem untoward or too disruptive to the show will return in being asked to leave.
-You are welcome to take photos, we will be taking some on the night for social media purposes.
