What we’re about
Learn to swing dance, no partner or experience necessary. Meet new people who are interested in swing music, learning or practicing swing dance, and most importantly having fun. We offer lessons for every level of dancer each Tuesday in Columbia Heights, followed by 2 hours of social dancing.
$12 when registered in advance or $15 at the door ($10 student/military) gets you a night of dancing and the introductory lessons, there is no fee to join this group.
The weekly introductory lesson is a great place to start swing dancing and meeting people. If you want to learn more, there are 6 week lesson series. Swing 1 is open to new dancers each time it starts, whether you've taken the introductory class or not.
