Heritage Day Shakedown! A Celebration Of South African Jazz

Join us this Heritage Day in celebrating the rich history of South African swing music with a special performance by the sensational Pebble Shakers band along with an array of DJs to keep you moving all night long.

The Pebble Shakers is a Cape Town-based group of jazz musicians specialising in swing-era tunes. To celebrate the history of jazz in South Africa, the band plays a selection of swinging South African tunes from the 1930s-50s, through the Echoes of Sophiatown music revival project. Don't miss this opportunity to get a taste of this unique selection of South African music.
