SATURDAY, June 14 AT THE SPANISH BALLROOM AT GLEN ECHO PARK
• Beginner swing lesson 8-9pm. We rotate partners in this class.
• Band plays 9-11:30pm
• Admission $20 in advance online; ticket sales ends at 12 noon the day of the dance. Advance ticket sales are final; no refunds or credits. $30 at the door.
No partner required. All ages, styles and abilities welcome.
Not a tank in sight, just great music and people looking for a good time. Girls From Mars are Wendi Bourne, Lauren Janson and Annie Patterson, all formerly members of Big Nite Out, singing and playing swing music from the 1930s and ’40s. Their unique style features the kind of close harmony you’d hear from groups such as the Andrews Sisters and the Boswell Sisters.
