Two Via Ferrata in One Day!

Hey friends,

We’ve been planning this adventure for a while, and it’s finally happening! This is the perfect day trip, close by and doable in a single day. However, please note that this adventure is not for beginners—you need to know what a via ferrata is and how to assess if the difficulty is suitable for you. The entire tour may take up to 6 or 7 hours, covering an ascent and descent of 1000m in altitude.

Details:

• Meeting Point: 7:20 AM at the Gondola Station Brunni in Engelberg (Google Maps Pin) - First Gondola leaves at 07:30!
• First Leg: Take the Brunni gondola. The chair lift only opens an hour later, so we'll hike up to Zittergrat (Tremor Ridge) (Topo Map)
• Second Leg: After finishing Zittergrat, we'll follow the blue-white hiking path to the second via ferrata, Rigidalstockwand (Topo Map)
• Descent: We'll descend via Rigidalstockgrat, which is also a via ferrata
