Last (Jura) Hike 2023 with me

UPDATE
Due to the weather forecast, there are changes to the plan. The hike may be shortened. The shortened route starts in Les Prés-d'Orvin and also ends there, where we will be treated to drinks and fine food. The hiking time is approximately 60 to 90 minutes. The endpoint will be reached no later than 1:20 PM at Les Prés-d'Orvin Bellevue. Those who want to do the long hike will also have the opportunity to do so. However, this can also be decided on-site.

this Hike is not Full. I confirm all participants individually. You will therefore only be on the waiting list.

This is my final hike. This hike is only for people who know me personally or have hiked with me before. Unfortunately, if we have never met in real life, I cannot consider your registration.

As many of you already know, I will be leaving Switzerland temporarily and will not be returning until November at the earliest. I will document my journey on www.grelis.de.

Hike:
Yes, it's Chasseral again!
We will take a relaxed hike through the idyllic Bernese Jura. The hike is technically easy, without steep ascents. We will see typical Jura meadows and pastures (Wiesn & Weiden), and a beautiful view of the three lakes (Bielersee, Neuenburgersee and Murten See), if we're lucky, the Alps and/or daffodils (Osterglocken)

Duration: about 5 hours + up to 2 hour break
Distance: approximately 14 km; 700-meter elevation gain, not too steep
Route: Les Prés-d'Orvin, Orvin - Leubringenberg - View Point Bänkli (Lake Neuchâtel) - Zentralplatz - Jura Höhenweg - Chasseral - Nods

MEETING POINT:
Meet at the Bus Station 70 in Biel Sektor E (in German: Kante E) at 0850. We will take the bus to Les Prés-d'Orvin Les - Bellvue (arriving at 09:14).

RETURN:
We will be returning from Nods, ecole (16:59, 17:29 or 18:29 / Depands on speed and size of the group ).
