Everybody 1-2-BBQ! - A Switch & Play NYC End of Summer BBQ Event

After four years, the Switch & Play NYC BBQ event is BACK!

Just like the previous BBQ Events we've hosted in the past, we will be returning to the Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 5, where we'll be taking some Grills, seats and tables to set up the area for the BBQ event! This event is also themed around Everybody 1-2-Switch, and we will be doing something with that at the event. Details will be added about that soon! The reason we are hosting this in early September is due to the fact that the weather won't be too hot and humid, as well as having the last big Summer event before the Autumn season arrives!

We will be keeping track on what will be brought to the event in terms of food and drinks, cutlery, and other supplies. A Google Spreadsheet will be posted soon that will keep track of everything brought and contributed to the event. Click on the link below to sign in, and write down what you plan to contribute.

To get to the Brooklyn Bridge Park - Pier 5, you can take the 2/3/4/5 trains to the Borough Hall stop. From Borough Hall, head west on Joralemon Street, and keep walking until you reach Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 5. That will be a 13-minute walk.

You could also take the N/W/R trains to the Court Street stop. From there, walk to Montague Street, then walk until you reach Clinton Street. Afterwards, you head to Joralemon Street, and keep walking until you reach Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 5. This altogether is a 10-12 minute walk.

You could also take the A/C/F trains to the Jay Street/Metrotech stop, but that's about a 16-17 minute walk. Once you enter the Pier, we should have seating available with shade. We'll spend our time chatting, gaming, and of course, eating while our grill masters will be working the BBQ pits for the day.
