Switch & Play NYC Weekly Meetups! - October 20, 2023

Switch & Play NYC is hosting weekly Friday Meetups! We will be meeting at The indoor section of The Hugh in 53rd and Lexington Ave. in Manhattan, where we'll be playing Nintendo Switch games together!

Please note that yes, we are doing bi-weekly meetups, and even though we're a lot of people in NYC are fully vaccinated, we're still in a middle of the pandemic, and it's not over yet. All of the Admins are fully vaccinated, and we will continue to take all the necessary precautions to keep the meetup safe for everyone! We strongly suggest everyone who attends the meetup to wear a mask at all times, except for when eating and/or drinking. Be sure to get yourself tested before attending the meetup. If you've tested positive, we recommend that you skip the meetups, for the safety of yourself and everyone in the group! We strongly suggest that you get yourself vaccinated before attending the meetup if you already haven' and get tested. Regardless of vaccination status, please have your mask available - we will provide one to those without.

Also, since there will be (select) indoor venues checking people to see if they're fully vaccinated, we recommend that everyone download the Excelsior Pass. We don't plan to check if anyone has the Excelsior Pass, but we recommend it in case it's required to get into an indoor venue.

To get to the Meetup Spot at The Hugh:

Take the 6, M, or E trains to Lexington Avenue - 53rd St. Station. From there, you just leave the station and then you should be able to see The Hugh. Once you go inside the building, make sure to go straight indoors until you see a group of folks playing Nintendo Switch systems; it's usually us - just ask for clarification!
