Weekend Ride for New Riders

Weekend Ride Out

This is aimed at fellow new riders that have completed basic training and are interested in going out on some longer rides together. The idea is to ride some scenic routes and to explore some new places.

More advanced riders are of course welcome to join, as long as you bring plenty of patience and a good sense of humour :-)

The ride will be planned for either Saturday or Sunday (depending on weather or other factors) and we will first start to explore places that can be easily done in a (half) day trip from Bern before heading further afield for some longer days out over the coming weeks.

The rough plan, the meeting point and communications during the ride will be done via Whatsapp - so please send a message to join the group.

Important: This is not an event with a leader. These meetups are organised to bring together new riders who want to be actively involved in planning group rides out together. Everyone joining a ride should be willing to participate in the planning, navigation etc and on the day we will be making decisions together that are best for the group. Please only sign up if you are onboard with this :-)
