Welcome to Explore the Coast - Southwest Michigan Sports, Outdoors, & Social Group. The purpose of this group is to give individuals/couples the opportunity to meet and connect with others with the same interests. Most events will be in Berrien and Van Buren Counties. We will be focusing on 3 areas: Sports will include: 1) Volleyball 2) Road Races: 5K, etc 3) Golf Outings 4) Watching Football 5) Etc. Outdoors will include: 1) Hiking 2) Camping 3) Canoeing 4) Cycling 5) Etc. Socials will include: 1) Dining 2) Festivals 3) Picnics 4) Comedy Clubs 5) Concerts 6) Game Nights 7) Wine Tastings 8) Etc. Chihuly at Meijer Gardens

The hike around the Meijer's Garden include the Japanese Garden and the Sculpture Park. The whole hike will be less than 3 miles.

Tickets are $25 for Meijer's Garden and Chihuly's Outside.
There is also an Indoor Exhibition (Chihuly: Radiant Forms) for another $9.
Fernwood members will get in the garden for free. The members of Potawatomi Conservatories, Friendship Botanic Gardens, or Wellfield Botanic Gardens should also get in for free. The member's garden must be at least 90 miles away from Meijer's Garden to get in for free.

Please be prepares for and a few dune climbs. We will take about a 4-mile hike.
Suggestion: Easy off / on shoes for wading into Lake Michigan.

You need a Michigan DNR Recreation Passport to park (Non Resident, $12 per day. $42 annually)

Movie Night: Minions & Monsters - Michigan Theater, South Haven

The Movie follows the Minions in 1920s Hollywood as they search for frightening creatures for their monster movie, partner with a green creature, and must save the planet after unleashing monsters.
The movie starts at 6:45. It is 1 1/2 hours long. We will have time to stop at South Pier Creamery after for Ice Cream (optional). They close at 9:00.
Movies are $5.50.
If you buy a popcorn bucket for $4.00, you can refill it for $1 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and free on Thursday. (You can't refill it Friday thru Sunday.)
This weeks movie is Minions & Monsters.
