SydAR Meetup #6 — XR in August

Details
We're at the Sydney Knowledge Hub at Sydney Uni! Thank you to Sydney Knowledge Hub and EyeJack (eyejack.io) for helping us organise the space!
As always, we are eager to showcase Augmented Reality demos from the community — do you have an AR creation you'd like to show at the event? It can be anything from a prototype to a released app! Students, tinkerers, enthusiasts, agencies — all are welcome! Get in touch and let me know!
We're also on the lookout for some speakers as this is just a "save the date" placeholder for now — if you're keen, let me know!
If you've got an AR talk or AR demo you'd like to showcase — feel free to message me here on Meetup, or email me at pat@therealitycrafters.com

EyeJack — EyeJack x Lincoln Center Immersive Series
EyeJack will be showcasing two recent EyeJack projects developed for Lincoln Center’s Immersive program in New York, Archive of Dance and Safe Space. Both projects demonstrate how they use augmented reality to transform public spaces into immersive storytelling environments.
The presentation will cover their creative and technical approaches, including how they used LiDAR scans and WebXR to build spatially accurate AR experiences. They'll also walk through their collaborations with the New York Public Library and artist Miles Regis to bring their work into AR. They'll touch on accessibility, interactivity, and what’s possible when digital art meets cultural heritage.
Anshul Dayal — Commercialising XR in Healthcare - Opportunities and Challenges
Anshul will explore the opportunities and challenges of commercialising XR solutions in healthcare, drawing on his experience building Neuromersiv from the ground up.
