Real talk: Startup ups and downs in current markets
Details
Join us for a candid conversation at the Sydney Agritech Meetup. Connect with fellow researchers, founders, investors, collaborators, and passionate supporters in Sydney's thriving AgriFood Tech ecosystem.
Building a startup is no easy feat—it's a journey undertaken by real humans grappling with genuine challenges. In the wake of a challenging 2023 for startups globally, Agri-food-tech ventures, often reliant on hardware and deep tech, faced the fundraising crunch. While more agtechs secured funding, the amounts were modest.
The challenge for 2024 is clear: do more with less and demonstrate the value you are delivering to growers and the market sooner.
Sydney’s robust agritech startup scene, intricately connected to academia, industry, and government, isn't immune to the industry's uncertainties. This meetup is a no-frills opportunity to delve into authentic conversations, swap unfiltered experiences, and stand united through the genuine ups and downs of this unpredictable yet fascinating - and impactful - journey.
