Tech Talk: TabH2O: State-of-the-Art Predictions with a Tabular Foundation Model
Speaker: [Shivam Bansal (H2O.ai) ](https://www.linkedin.com/in/shivambansal1/)
Abstract: Learn how TabH2O enables state-of-the-art predictions on tabular data without extensive model development or tuning.
Instead of spending days or weeks training and tuning models, TabH2O delivers predictions in seconds through an inference-first approach to tabular ML.
Across 300+ benchmark datasets, TabH2O outperforms tuned XGBoost, CatBoost, GLM, and KNN models without requiring hyperparameter tuning.
This session explores the technology, benchmark results, and real-world applications of tabular foundation models.

Tech Talk: Learning to Route: Reinforcement Learning, But Not As You Know It
Speaker: Ben Yi (ex-Intuit)
Abstract: A production chat agent picks between 76 skills on every query, in one shot, with no rollback; today that's an LLM router call, and it's slow, capped, and opaque. We built a small learned-routing policy offline and compared it against the LLM router across five different RL algorithms, expecting the usual RL story. We didn't get it. This talk walks through what we tried, what surprised us, and what it taught us about the data underneath the problem.
