Castle Hill to Cherrybrook via Cumberland Forest
Details
This walk starts at Castle Hill Metro Station and finishes at Cherrybrook Metro Station. The walk goes via Bidjigal Reserve, Darling Mills Falls, Richard Webb Reserve and Cumberland State Forest. The walk follows cut tracks, some management trails and urban streets.
Lunch will be in Cumberland State Forest.
After lunch we will head to Cherrybrook Metro station via the Palm Gully Trail.
Start Location: 10:00am Castle Hill Metro Station
Transport: 9:10am Tallawong Metro from Central Station, Platform 26 to Castle Hill Metro Station arriving at 9:45am. Walk starts at 10:00am. Meet on corner of Old Castle Hill Rd and Old Northern Rd.
Distance: 12Km
Terrain: Bush tracks, Management trails, Footpath
WHAT TO BRING. Please wear good bushwalking shoes and bring lunch, a hat, sunscreen, rain jacket, first aid kit and 2L water.
