Details

This scenic walk starts at Tempe Station and follows the cycle path along the banks of the Cooks River, through Pat O'Conner Reserve and Hughs Park and returns to Tempe Station via a bush track along Wolli Creek via the bat colony.

Start Location: 10:00am Tempe Train Station (western side car park at bottom of foot bridge)

Morning Tea: Spin Cafe on William Street, Earlwood
Lunch: Earlwood Bardwell Park RSL Club

Transport: Trains take 10min to reach Tempe from Central Station. Make sure you arrive BEFORE 10.00am as we will not be waiting. The 9:37 am Hurstville train from Central P25 arrives Tempe Station at 9:47am.

Distance: 12.6Km
Terrain: Flat: Sealed Road (15%), Cycle Way (40%) and Bush Track (45%)
Time: Around 3-4 hrs

WHAT TO BRING:
Please wear good bushwalking shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen, rain jacket, first aid kit and 2L water.
