East Hills to Riverwood

From East Hills Station, we will head down to Lambert Reserve and follow the Georges River to Fitzpatrick Park. We will head into the St Georges River National Park and circumnavigate Yeramba Lagoon. After a short walk on the road, we head back into the bush along the Georges River to our lunch spot at Morgans Creek.

After lunch, we cross Little Salt Pan Creek via Henry Lawson Drive and re-enter the bush again to follow the Georges River to Padstow Heights.

After stopping for a well deserved coffee or milkshake at Padstow Heights, we head along Salt Pan Creek to Riverwood Station.

Start Location: 9:00am East Hills Station. Meet at bottom of exit ramp.

Transport: 7:37am T4 Waterfall train from Central P25 to Sydenham, then 8:02am 32T8 Railway Bus from Gleeson Ave, Stand E to East Hills station arriving at 8:54am

Distance: 14Km
Terrain: Sealed Road, Bush Track and Fire Trail

WHAT TO BRING. Please wear good bushwalking shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen, rain jacket, first aid kit, picnic lunch and 2L water.
