Eastwood to Killara
Details
This scenic walk starts at Eastwood Station and follows Terry's Creek (pictured above) to the Lane Cove River. We follow the Great North Walk past Deburghs Bridge to Blackbutt Creek. Finally we head up the St Johns Trail, pass Gordon Golf Club to The Green Gate Hotel in Killara for lunch and refreshments.
Start Location: 9:30am Eastwood Station. (Eastern Side - Railway Parade exit)
Transport: T9 train leaves Wynyard station P3 at 8:45am, Town Hall station P2 at 8:49am, Central station P18 at 8:53am, Redfern Station P4 at 8:55am, Strathfield station P6 at 9:07am and arrives Eastwood station at 9:23am.
Distance: 13Km
Terrain: Road, Fire trail and bush tracks. Mainly on bush tracks
Time: Around 3-4hrs walk, 1hr lunch
WHAT TO BRING. Please wear good bushwalking shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen, rain jacket, first aid kit and 2L water.
