Apache Cassandra: Intro and Use Cases

Details
DataStax has established an office in North Sydney, with initial engineers on their support team. Jeremy Hanna is currently down from the UK office helping to establish the office and will moving here later this winter.
The meetup is last minute but we wanted to introduce ourselves while he is here. The talk is an introduction to Apache Cassandra as well as some common use cases we've seen. We're also there to answer any questions people have from a support or DataStax perspective.
The meetup itself is a joint meetup with the Sydney Node.js group (https://www.meetup.com/sydney-node-ninjas/events/186393592/) that is already having their meetup at ThoughtWorks that night. So we'll mention the resources available and upcoming for developers using the node.js language in the talk. However, it's Cassandra and use case specific overall.
Food and drinks will be provided.
We're excited to help the community grow here and to meet everyone at this and future meetups!
