2023 Velo-Christmas Closeout Night Ride (30+km, road riding, some hills)

*****Working Front & Back bike lights for this NIGHT ride, please.*******
Whip around the streets of the Inner West and City of Sydney on your bikes with your best tinsel, glitter and lights! 30+km medium-level ride, mostly roads, some of which are hilly in the inner west.
Have your dinner BEFORE we meet at 7.50 pm. If you get to Ashfield early, please avail yourself of the food options there. We will not have time to stop for a snack along the way.
Start point is The Esplanade along Brown Street Reserve, across the road from Ashfield Station. We will finish in the city at St Mary's Cathedral, across the road from Hyde Park.
The Christmas lights we will ride to are at:
- Second Street, Ashbury
- Pleasant Avenue, Erskineville
- the foreshore line of Pyrmont, Darling Harbour, Barangaroo
- The Rocks and Circular Quay
- Martin Place
- Pitt Street Mall Canopy of Light
- St Mary's Cathedral.
Take the train home from St James Station or ride home, but please make sure you have fully charged back and front lights for your bike that will last at least 4 hours.
Bring your roadworthy bike, a helmet, and water.
